Warranty

All Kelly guitars sold as “New” or “Custom Order” come with a 1 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Strings, guitar cases, French polish, hybrid shellac, and lacquer finish are not covered by the warranty.

 

In the event that the buyer has a problem with their guitar we ask that they contact the dealer the guitar was purchased from or contact us directly if the guitar was purchased from the Kelly Guitar Company directly. We will ask for video or photos of the problem and decide how to proceed. If we think the problem is due to our materials or workmanship we will ship the guitar free of charge and do whatever possible to correct the problem. 

 

If the issue is not due to us we will provide an estimate for the cost of repair, shipping, and the time it will take to complete.

 

For finish repairs and finish refurbishment contact us for a list of recommended finishers around the country. French polish finish is very specialized and we do not recommend attempting to repair it yourself.  We also do not recommend sending it to anyone outside of our list of finishers.
